How to Use a Universal Rechargeable Battery Charger

The use of rechargeable batteries is not only a good way to save money, but it is also good for the environment. From laptops to cell phones and portable radios to car batteries, we are surrounded with rechargeable batteries. Using a universal charger to charge your basic AA, AAA, C, D or 9 volt batteries is fairly simple.

Plug the universal charger into the wall outlet.

Place your batteries into the charger. Most chargers will have dedicated slots to put your different sized batteries in. Place the batteries into their correct slot.

Turn on the charger. Depending on which universal charger you are using this can be done by pressing a power button or simply closing the door on the charger. Consult the owner's manual for instructions on how to turn on your charger.

Charge the batteries. Your universal charger will automatically shut off when the batteries are fully charged.

Remove the batteries from the charger immediately after the charging process is complete.

Unplug your battery charger when it is not in use.

Maintenance:

1. Charge at room temperature.

2. Store in cool and dry place.

3. Clean up the terminals with a soft cloth if soiled.

4. Unplug AC power adapter when not in use.

5. Do not expose the product to fire, rain or moisture.

6. Do not use AC power adapter other than specified by manufacturer.
